Inverness Airport Business Park (IABP) represented and featured at the Scottish Cities Alliance stand during MIPIM UK in London last week. The event was attended by 4,000 delegates over 3-days, and it was encouraging to receive such a positive response, to the on-going developments with Inverness Airport Business Park and the wider Highland region. Thanks again to Scottish Cities Alliance and The Highland Council for their continued support.
Here is an overview from Julien Sausset (MIPIM UK Deputy Director)…
With over 4,000 delegates attending, including more than 500 investors, MIPIM UK was the biggest-ever gathering for the British property sector, confirmed by the presence of private players and local authorities from 35 cities, including London, Manchester, Leeds, Liverpool and the Scottish Cities Alliance.
Through 3 intensive days of business and networking, MIPIM UK has already established itself as the meeting point of the UK property sector; gathering Britain’s top property developers and owners, Ministers and scores of international investors.
The issues of Britain’s housing crisis, national growth and focus on the UK regions were all addressed during the numerous panel discussions and events. The Mayor of London, Boris Johnson, the Minister of State for Universities, Science and Cities, the Rt Hon Greg Clark MP and the Chief Executive of Manchester City Council, Sir Howard Bernstein were amongst the senior-level figure heads who shared their views on the major topics.
